Dear diary,

Our picnic this week was in the strange realm of fungus–Sporeggar. I imagine most went expecting meals of mushroom and other edible fungi from the local sporelings, however their dishes consisted largely of fish, crustacean and blue meat. Apparently the towering mushrooms don’t make for good eating at all, and the more appetizing smaller species are getting hard to find so they’ve resorted to more fishing, trapping and hunting.

Food: 7.5/10
Atmosphere: 8/10
Hospitality: 10/10

I just hope that tangy blue meat we had was hydra and not naga…

Looks like my prolonged absence from Icecrown did not unnoticed despite not even having a regular presence in dreaded raid content. The powers that be oh-so-gently reminded me of commitments awaiting back home–now amassed to the form of a document pile Mount Hyjal of sorts in my chambers.

So after much negotiation here and there, some legal threats tossed around the table and pie, I managed to get some time off squeezed into the hectic schedule planned ahead.

So… that aside, here’s one shot from one of my ‘legal’ trips out.

Getting here this time ’round was only possible after obtaining an Orb of the Sin’dorei.

SUCCESS!!! Had to sacrfice a day’s picnic, but it was the only way to sneak into the Argent Tournament stables and snitch a hippogryph. Yes, that is me on it. Had to destroy the ghoul who helped take the shot shortly after.

So I head off to the Basin for a quick spin around after that. Will be back with more shots soon! Weee!

While taking in the sights and sounds of the Argent Tournament again, I spotted a likely candidate as a mount. I will post a picture if successful in obtaining it later.

Finally picnics again as usual. Wasn’t too sure of the location till good old Illy snarled the venue to me.

Winterspring.

Why, oh why a snowy place? Haven’t most of them gotten their fair share of cold from Northrend already? I was grumpy, to say the least. However the goblins were giving out a special brew that cheered me up a little. Kungaloosh. Wonderful drink! They say it originates from somewhere in Northrend. I shall have to learn to make this.

Other than that. Cold. Frozen tacos. And snow. And more crazy blue dragons. Argh.

Another little walk around. This time I was trying out my disguise on the outskirts of the Argent Tournament. It was a success, save the annoying goblin vendors who kept trying to shove tabards my way. I think I’m quite ready to venture into other zones with this now. Will need at the very least a land mount just so I’m not trudging all the way around Northrend.
